What is the equivalent to New Zealand kindergarten on the Sunshine Coast? Are there fees to pay?

We are moving to the Sunshine Coast early next year and have two preschoolers, one of whom attends kindy here and the other who will start shortly. Are there yearly fees? Or is it free like it is here in NZ? Any help would be appreciated.
