What are the skilled jobs that pass for permanent residency applications?
What are the skilled jobs that pass for permanent residency applications? What field are always accepted and what are the industries that don't really pass?
Has anyone applied and been declined? And for what reasons? For not being 'aptly skilled' or something along those lines?

You can find the full list of skills that will be considered for the Skilled Migrant visa here: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/sol/ If your skill is on the list, you need to have a skills assessment done for your chosen area as part of your visa application - to prove you have the skills you say you do. All the details for this are on the link above.
