Best Affordable area to live in Melbourne, with children?
Good schools, nice neighborhoods and local supermakets, but not too costly to live there.

Point Cook is great for families. We moved over about 10 months ago and have a 2 year old and a 5 month old (born in Oz). We rent a very nice, spacious, almost new house - 4 bedroom, 2 living, double garage etc for $350. There is a good shopping centre in Point Cook too. Not sure about schools though sorry!
