Will I be able to stay living in Australia on 461 if my relationship ends?
I have a Resident's Visa in New Zealand that will expire on December, 2012. I just entered Australia on a 461 visa. What happens if my relationship with my NZ partner ends?

Hi - You can renew your 461 visa if you have been in Australia for more than 2 years by the time your relationship ends: http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/family/461/how-the-visa-works.htm

What if you haven't been in the counrty for two years? Is the vusa still valid?
