UK citizen bankrupt and wanting to move to Australia. Is this possible?

I live in the UK and will be declaring myself bankrupt in the next few weeks but myself and my partner are wanting to move to Australia at some time in the future. He has a sponsor in Australia but would I be declined entry due to being bankrupt?

There are no questions in the visa application form about your financials, but it is possible that Immigration make ask you for financial information at some point during the application process. I haven't heard of anyone being denied a visa because of bankruptcy (as long as you are actually allowed to leave your own country - in some countries they take your passport as a condition of the bankruptcy process), but I would recommend checking with an immigration agent to make sure.
