Public transport in Adelaide
Does anyone know if public transport in Adelaide is any good?? Are their buses good service and close to supermarkets and all the usual shopping places? Is Adelaide good to walk around in and get most of the usual shopping done? Are shops nearby or do you need a car in the suburbs? Or is a car recommended overall to get around in Adelaide?

Adelaide public transport does have a fairly good reputation for a relatively reliable network that covers the CBD and most suburbs. The CBD is very easy to walk around and you could probably get away without a car depending on what suburb you were living in. The Adelaide metro maps are here if you want to check it out in more detail: http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/routes/metroguide
