Can I move to Australia as a permanent New Zealand resident with British citizenship?

I have been a permanent resident in New Zealand since 1966 with UK citzenship.

I have also lived and worked in Australia (permanent Australian resident for over 10 years) in the 80's before moving to NZ with family in 1994.

My husband and daughter are both Australian.

We are looking to move back to Australia - am I able to work in Australia?

You'll need to get a visa to be able to work in Australia seeing you are only a permanent resident of NZ. Go to the immigration website and take a look at the family and Partner visas: http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/family/
