What does an English New Zealand permanent resident have to do to move to Australia?
I have been living in New Zealand for over 12 years and now wish to relocate to Australia. I have NZ permanent residency, so how does that affect my move to Australia?

As a NZ permanent resident you will still need to get a visa to live and work in Australia, whereas if you were a NZ citizen, you could just come on over. If you have close family in Australia or are in a relationship with a NZ citizen you could check out the family visas. Otherwise a skilled migrant visa or an employer sponsored visa are common options.
