Can Australia deport you to New Zealand?
I'm living in Australia and about to be declared bankrupt in New Zealand. Can they bring us back? We sold everything to come here hoping to make good, but it didn't quite work out. What's the worst they can do to us??
I'm pretty sure people are only extradited back to New Zealand for serious criminal offences. However, if you decide to return to New Zealand, you may find you can't leave again for up to 3 years as this is usually a condition of the bankruptcy. i have debts in Auckaland but am not sure how much i owe, if i fly over for my nieces 21st birthday.will i be stop at nz airport or will they hand me court documents papers.am sure there was a law that came out for people that owe money to companys in auckland back in 2010.
