Emigrating to Australia with a mortgage in the UK?

Hey all,

I am wanting to emigrate to Australia in the next year/year and a half.

I am currently in the UK looking to move to Edinburgh while I save and build a more experienced background.

I am looking to buy a house that I can live In while here and rent out when I decide to move or sell depending how this pans out.

The idea would be that I can rent the flat to cover the mortgage and more while I'm away.

However I don't know how this would affect my visa application for going over? Does anyone know how this works or is there nothing to worry about if I can justify the thinking etc.
