If I have a current disqualification on my NZ licence can I still drive in Australia?

I have a 6 month disqualification on my NZ drivers licence for a DUI conviction. I am planning to move to Australia in 2months and while I'm not planning to drive until the end of the 6months, if I had to would I be able to legally drive in Australia given it is a NZ conviction? Alternatively I also still have a UK license - if needed could I use that? Thanks

Aus rta is also linkedd to nz rta, they will know if you have been disqualified, so if your coming to australia, you will not be able to drive, if you have a uk drivers licence then u will have to apply for a special lic which allows you to drive, forms will need to be filled, be honest, dont drive its not worth it, public transport is best,
