Been in Mel for over a year now with NZ passport. Now planning to get Aussie PR.
Which form(s) should I go and fill out please guys? I have got all the materials ready for my wife and I. Has anyone been through the process and succeed???

You can try but the Australian govt is paranoid about immigrants they don't want using NZ as a back door way to become Australian PRs or Citizens - as of 2017 there is no way for NZ citizens to become Australian citizens or permanent residents unless they were in Australia before various dates (eg 1981, 2002). As a NZ passport holder you will have the right to remain on a special category visa (temporary) indefinitely in Australia - but no clear way to become a PR or Citizen.
