Ive lived here for four years, do i have to apply for a special visa, or can i apply for citizenship?
I read that i will need to apply for permanent residency, but i also read if ive lived in Aus for 4 years i can apply fir citizenship. I want to apply for citizenship, but im confused! What is the correct process for me?

Generally you have to be in Australia for 4 years before applying for citizenship. In addition to this criteria you must be on a permanent visa for at least 12 months before applying.
Use the citizenship wizard on the citizenship website to check if you are eligible to apply.
