I'm Australian citizen. My boyfriend is Venezuelan, can he apply for residency or Australian Citizenship?

I'm an Australian citizen, I've been living in Venezuela the past 10 years, Now I would like to move back to Australia. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 years, he is Venezuelan, can he apply for the legal residence or citizenship through me?
