Are pre-existing conditions accepted by medicare? eg diabeties
We are looking at shifting to Australia, however our daughter is type 1 diabetic and we would like to know if diabeties is covered under Medicare, eg insulin.

Hi there, yes Medicare covers a lot of medications and services for diabetics. There is a document here which is pretty comprehensive: https://www.medicare.gov/Pubs/pdf/11022.pdf

Hello, did you find out any information regarding your type 1 diabetic daughter? I'm looking at moving to Australia and I'm also type 1. Can you point me in the right direction to get the correct information. Kind regards Tracy
