Banned from Canada due to misrepresentation of employment. Want to apply for Australia PR.

Hi,

I have recently been banned from Canada due to misrepresentation of employment which was due to the idea provided to me by my consultant. Now I am interested in applying for Australian Permanent Residency with my original working experience in the field of Financial Investment Advisor. Could you please confirm what would be the best way to do so? Shall I become the principal applicant and add my spouse as dependent on my application? Or would It be better if my spouse applies as a principal applicant (My Spouse falls under sales representative category) and I be added as a dependent applicant?

Could you please confirm which option would be best or Shall I wait for 5 years once the ban is removed from me in Canada and then apply for Australia?
