Renewal of returning Australian permanent resident?

I was granted a permanent resident visa in 2007 and lived and worked in Perth until 2010 when my marriage broke down and my wife returned to UK. I also returned but now want to return to Perth after 4 years. Is the permanent resident visa still valid or do I have to pay to renew it? Thank-you.
