Can I sponsor my partner into Australia?
Hi. I am recent NZ citizen and am moving to reside in Australia soon asI have most families there. Can I sponsor my partner who is a non NZ resident / citizen into Australia to stay with me? I have not previously supported anyone into Australia under partnership. If Yes, do i need to be already working to support her application as I may be getting a job a few months later after moving to Australia.

Hi, you can get him a 461 visa which will give him full work rights and lasts for 5 years. He will be able to renew it each time it expires. Cost about $300.
