I have a full NZ driver's licence but I've only had it for a few months. Can I get a full Australian licence?
Will I be able to get a full Australian licence when I move over? Is there a required amount of time you need to have your full licence to be able to get a full Australian licence?

Yes your NZ license is valid for 3 months after moving to Australia. You'll be entitled to full driver's license in Australia and to get one you just need to fill out the forms and make an appointment with the appropriate authority, depending on what state/territory you are living in: http://www.anz.com/personal/travel-foreign-exchange/moving-australia/arriving-australia/drivers-licence-australia/

Will the same rules apply in Perth?
