How Does the Move to Australia Exactly Work?

I've done a massive amount of research, but just a few questions if your kind enough to answer!

1. I have been working renovation/construction/retail for a few years. Is that a doable work path for the VISA?

2. Is college necessary for a VISA? I have just have 1 year of community college under my belt.

3. How much is the VISA, and other fees?

4. How long is the wait, and what are the chances of acceptance?

5. Is a 20 year old in perfect health an ideal candidate for getting a VISA for permanent residency?

6. Is a trip to an expo absolutely required for an opportunity?

7. Is a VISA pretty much an inclusion of a residency and a job? and is the living situation all up to me after a VISA is accepted? Or is it all included in 1, in the VISA.

8)Last question, when should i apply for a VISA?

.. anything critical i might of left out feel free to add.
