Does my 14-month-old child need Australian citizenship to attend daycare in Australia?
We are planning on staying for 6-12 months to see what it's like. Does this also make a difference?

No you do not need to have an australian citizenship to attend daycare however you will need to pay full price fees as you would not be entilted to any ccb until you spoke to centrelink and were living in australia for a certain period of time. The amount of time you spend in australia does not affect anything to do with day care. generally you are required to give two weeks notice to the day care centre.
