Band 4 equivilent in NCEA

Question

I've been looking at my prerequisites for my degree and it states that there is a minimum of band 4 in Advanced Maths (NSW HSC's). My question is what would that be equivalent to in NCEA terms? Would that classify as an excellence and does it only apply to NCEA level calculus or also statistics?
