I have a New Zealand passport by decent (I was born in South Africa). Having never lived in NZ, will this cause any problems when I move to Auz?
I want to make sure that I will be let into Auz even though I haven't lived in NZ. I do have a valid NZ passport as my mother is from NZ. I'd appreciate any info. Thank you.

It shouldn't do - as long as you use your NZ passport at the border to enter Australia, you should be automatically given the special category visa.

15 years ago.Thank you. That is what I intend to do. I had conflicting information from other sources but have thoroughly read through the info given my the Auz embassy.
