Can I move to Australia with New Zealand criminal convictions and an unpaid fine?

Criminal convictions are: Assault's, DIC's + I have a 15-year-old unpaid fine in Perth (Australia).

If you have criminal convictions you need to get the consent of the Australian Consulate-General to move to Australia. You can download the form here that you need to fill in: http://www.newzealand.embassy.gov.au/wltn/VisaFAQ.html#criminal

the convictions will be alright as long as you werent imprisoned, you do have to pay the fine before hand, or make arrangements to pay the fine.
