Does NZ phone equipment work in Australia?
We bought a phone recently (landline) before finding out that we will be moving to Australia. Does NZ phone equipment work in Australia. I tried bringing a UK modem to NZ once and it didn't work because it wasn't telepermitted so just want to know if Australia has similar restrictions. Thanks.

Got an answer from another online forum: yes, it will work, but you'll need to buy an adapter (cheapish) from Dick Smith or JB HiFi or ismilar store.
