What are the suitable areas to buy a house near ANU, Canberra?

My family will move to Canberra from Dunedin next May. We are unfamiliar with the city. Could does somebody give us some suggestions about area(s) to buy a house? We plan to live near ANU: an area is within 40 minutes by walk to ANU and have a excellent primary school and intermediate school. What price of house in these areas looks like? Many Thanks!
