Moving from NZ to Sydney
Hi all,
There is probably an answer on here somewhere, but I want to ask for my sake.
I am a NZ citizen currently living in NZ and I am wanting to move to Sydney in the next few months. I have fines, but I am paying them off and will continue to pay them while in Sydney. I have some bad credit that I am trying to sort via no asset procedure. I want to work and live in Sydney - Im not sure for how long, maybe 1 year but I'm not sure.
Will any of this stop me from leaving NZ and coming into Australia? Do I have to have a return ticket or a one way? If anyone can help me with this please do.
What type of fines are there? There are only a few situations where money owing in NZ would prevent you from moving to Australia - e.g. child support owed. As long as you continue to pay it off, it's usually fine. If you give me more details I can give you a more precise answer :)
