I have NZ permanent residence, my husband is Australian but has been living in NZ for all his life and I have two children born in NZ. Can I enter to Australia or do I have to apply for a tourist visa or tempory permanent visa? Are my children entitled to free health care or family assistance (supplements for rent or child support)? Thanks.

As you are only a permanent resident of NZ, you will need a visa to come to Australia. If your children are NZ citizens they can move over on the special category visa. This visa could be worth checking out for you: http://www.immi.gov.au/migrants/partners/partner/309-100/ Hope that helps :)
