I am a Kiwi with a British boyfriend living in the uk. We want to find out how to enter and find work in Australia on a temporary/semi-permanent basis.

Can my boyfriend enter on my passport? Does he need a visa? Where is the best place to look for work? My boyfriend is a qualified electrician.

Hi, apply for a NZ family citizen 461 visa which will give him 5 years to live and work and you can renew it every 5 years if you need to, Cost about $300, then while you are there apply for a skilled permanent visa which he will get as he is a sparky.
