Can a New Zealander move to Australia and become an Air Force Pilot easily?
Or do you need to be a permanent resident and apply for citizenship before you can join? Also, is there a way that you can transfer from the New Zealand army reserves to the Australian forces?

You need to be an Australian permanent resident or citizen before you can work for the Australian airforce. More info here: http://www.airforce.gov.au/careers/
I'm not sure about transfers...would probably be best to get in touch directly with the Australian army to check that out.
