Healthcare card versus Commonwealth Health card
Can anyone enlighten us as to eligibility for either of these cards when arriving from NZ to retire on Sunshine Coast Queensland?

Are you asking about the Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) and, the confusingly similarly named but different, Health Care Card?
The following guide will hopefully answer your questions. It mentions that NZ citizens living in Australia on an SCV qualify for the CSHC so long as you meet the other requirements (age, income, etc):
