Working in Australia

My brother age of 17 is moving over to work. He’s never had a bank account in NZ nor anything under his name. What does he need to bring to be able to work in Australia?

Any form of identification is helpful- Drivers license, Passport, proof of address (bank statement). The job market here is crazy (over 1000 applicants for 1 job). He’ll need plenty of savings to live off, it could be a while before you can secure a job. First thing to do would be opening a bank account as soon as you get there- this provides proof of address and intent to stay. Then Medicare and license conversion should follow.
