How much is it to get a permanent residency? I've heard $1700 and when i try apply it is $7000??
what is the best visa to get being a NZ citizen applying for residency. I have tried applying for the partner visa which is near $7000? please help

I was looking at applying for a permanent resident visa for having a skilled occupation, for me it was going to cost around $3000 for me and another $1800 to have my partner listed on my application. The best visa for PR for a kiwi, well, if you are not married to an Australian or don't have a skilled occupation or be sponsored by your employer on a 457 visa, forget about becoming a permanent resident, there are no other options for Kiwis. We are in permanent limbo in Australia.
