Can a New Zealand citizen who sponsored his parents for residency, move to Australia?

Hi there, I'm a NZ citizen and had sponsored my parents 2 years ago which is still under processing time. Can I apply for Australian Permanent Residency and later move to Australia? Also can I have dual citizenship for both NZ & Australia? Thanks Jas
