What important documents do I need to bring to get work and rental accommodation in Australia?
Is it important to take character references for work and rental properties, or will the main income earner be sufficient enough? I am a mum at home and only work on a casual part-time basis as we have 2 boys. My husband has been a police officer for the past 10 years.

It would probably be best to take your own references for everything as well. if you plan to return to work again later, these will be useful. they may also be useful as evidence for other things.
