Child born in Australia before PR granted to both parents.

Hi, My baby born in 2012,in Australia and we got permanent residency in 2014. I want to know can we apply citizenship for my baby? i know we will be eligible for citizenship after 12 months from the date we got PR. How about my baby she was born here. Please advice me if anybody know about this. Thanks.
