Me and my partner have 1 dui each. Can we get SCV??
My partner is a NZ Citizen and I am a PR of NZ. We are planning to move to Aus. We both have 1 DUI each which were nearly 2 and 3 years ago. That was the only offense on mine and my partner's record over 10+ years of driving and no other criminal records. Is there any chance of the SCV being declined for my partner and dependent visa (Form 461) being declined for me? We have been on multiple holiday trips to AUS prior the DUI and 1 recently after the DUI. we didn't mention the DUI recently though.

i passed right through customs with no trouble at all, i have 1 dui, 3 careless driving and 1 dangerous driving causing death/injury, very old convictions though, like 10 years + driving convictions you don't need to worry about, its the drug charges and prison time is what they are interested in.
