Can a NZ citizen aged 50-55 apply for Aus Permanent residence? And what if over 55?

Age is a not a barrier to applying for Australian Citizenship, but you have to have lived in Australia for 3 years before you can apply. Check out the following link: http://www.citizenship.gov.au/applying/how_to_apply/nz/
